Family of Kidnapped Woman Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Sex Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old lady from North Richland Hills is now home after being abducted by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks game at American Airways Middle. But the family still seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not acting swiftly enough relating to the crime, which had the lady as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a complete of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that approach (the aforementioned organizations) are on discover that we’re pursuing claims in opposition to them for his or her negligence and different causes of motion.''

Fortenberry mentioned the teenager’s father informed police on the recreation when he realized she was missing. But, in line with the attorney, the daddy was told to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the woman was found, the staff releasing the following statement: “The American Airlines Center (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Each entities will continue to cooperate with local and regional regulation enforcement on this case.''
