Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front across the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles in the automobile. Both were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in steady condition, officers mentioned. We do not know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
