BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of signs saying "college shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety introduced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of charges.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs across the communities, the Department of Safety said, however they decided there is no credible threat at this time.
The New Hampshire Division of Security is investigating indicators that learn 'college shooter!' which have been present in multiple communities New Hampshire Division of SafetyOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The safety division released a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor costs together with false report to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
No different suspects have been charged presently.
