Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Huge Macs on daily basis

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Big Mac streak started on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Big Mac. I’ve counted every Massive Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All via life right here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be lifeless before you attain 50 years of consuming Huge Macs.’ I suppose I proved them wrong,” he mentioned.

His son just isn't surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had happy meals. I at all times beloved my chicken nuggets, and my brother always loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life sort of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has extra of a different food regimen.

“I used to eat hen nuggets every day. I used to eat cheeseburgers daily, but ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, but he certainly does,” he stated.

Gorske says he will proceed consuming Massive Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet until he dies.

“A lot of times people will say, ‘You appear to be I’m consuming a Huge Mac for the primary time,’” Gorske said. “I assume that’s how I feel sometimes. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d somewhat eat,” he said.
