Paul Pelosi: Nancy Pelosi’s husband arrested on DUI expenses

Paul Pelosi, 82, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. PT and charged with driving underneath the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or increased, in response to the Napa County Criminal Justice Community's public reserving report. Each costs are misdemeanors.

Pelosi was trying to cross SR-29 when his 2021 Porsche was hit by a 2014 Jeep traveling northbound on the highway, according to a collision report from the California Freeway Patrol, which doesn't identify both driver as being at fault within the crash. Troopers had been called to the scene just earlier than 10:30 p.m., the report said.

There were no accidents reported in the crash and the Jeep's driver was not arrested, the report mentioned.

CNN has reached out to the highway patrol and the Napa County Sheriff's Workplace for extra particulars.

Bail was set at $5,000 based on the reserving report, and records indicate Pelosi was launched Sunday morning.

"The Speaker won't be commenting on this private matter which occurred whereas she was on the East Coast," an announcement from Drew Hammill, Pelosi's spokesperson, said. CNN reached out for an up to date statement after the collision report was launched.
