A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers mentioned Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news release from the park.
The girl approached the female bison Monday morning after it came close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Old Trustworthy geyser, the park stated.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison dwell at the park, and so they have injured extra individuals than another animal, the park said.
When the customer got here within 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet within the air, the park said.
The lady had puncture wounds and other accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other folks had been also close to the animal when it gored the lady, the park mentioned. The release didn’t say in the event that they have been injured.
The park warned individuals to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and a minimum of 100 yards from bears and wolves.
